Our team at SUPPLY.com likes to accept any challenge thrown our way, ala Barney Stinson. So, when the ATLiens over at Startup Atlanta approached us to participate in the 2017 Startup Games Atlanta (stay tuned for more on that), naturally we were game.
Although the big day isn’t until January, the organizers of Startup Games Atlanta got the competitive juices flowing by challenging us to a #MannequinChallenge. You know, that thing everyone is doing…
A little about the Startup Games:
The Startup Games unite companies in friendly competition to build great cultures while giving back to their local communities. Startups compete in an Olympic-style event for a day of networking, fun, and philanthropy. Each company competes for the nonprofit of their choice, and at the end of the event, every nonprofit walks away with a grant — the largest grants are awarded to the nonprofits supported by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
We’ll have more information on the Startup Games in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. If you work at a startup in Atlanta and think your team has what it takes to go mano-a-mano (in games like beer pong, flip cup and giant Jenga) with hometown heroes like Salesloft, Atlanta Tech Village and yours truly, toss your hat in the ring. Besides, someone has to come in second place!
