Last week, our Q4 Quarterly Meeting took place at the Riverside EpiCenter where we, as a company, reflected on last quarter’s victories and also looked at the growth opportunities that lay ahead in Q4 and beyond. CEO Marcus Morgan shared the company’s vision as we rebrand as SUPPLY.com next month while each department relayed their team’s specific wins and goals. The house was brought down when Rich Holland, COO, explained the importance of our name change with a hilariously stirring rendition of “What’s in a Name?” from Romeo and Juliet. After the meeting, employees enjoyed a happy hour in the EpiCenter’s arcade, featuring air hockey, billiards, and video games.
The following day, we hosted our 1st Annual Chili Cook Off, a part of our Thursday Thank You series. Employees showcased their secret recipes in front of a panel of judges composed of reps from R&L Carriers and Sunbelt Marketing and our very own Carey Tucker, Content Strategist. Ten crock pots entered the competition, but there could only be one winner. Congratulations to Accounting’s Jahaya Mattox, whose black bean chili was the unanimous champ!
