At SUPPLY.com, we sell thousands of plumbing and lighting products from more than 80 manufacturers. To us, those companies are more than just a collection of SKUs on our site – they’re brand partners. One of our favorite brand partners is Hansgrohe. With their US headquarters conveniently located in Alpharetta, our neighbors recently gave us an unforgettable tour of their world-class manufacturing facility and also treated our entire organization to a Brand Day. We spoke with members of both parties to learn more about the partnership, our trip to Alpharetta, and their on-site visit to our Austell campus.
A few weeks back, members of our Marketing and Merchandising Teams hopped on Georgia 400 and headed up to Hansgrohe HQ. We were welcomed by Jason McNeely, Sales Training Manager, and Angela Hoggan, Social Commerce & Communication Manager, who rolled out the red carpet for our visit.
Our first stop was the Aquademie, Hansgrohe USA’s training and interactive product center. Jason walked our team through the history of the German company, which dates back to 1901, the evolution of their innovative product line (check out our features on Select technology and the iBox Universal Plus), and Axor – Hansgrohe’s luxury brand.

Following an informative training session, we made our way to the manufacturing floor to witness firsthand how Hansgrohe faucets and shower systems are made. “As someone who has written about Hansgrohe’s product line, it was awesome to see how it all gets made,” noted Joe Murphy, SUPPLY.com Junior Creative Producer. “Also, that was the cleanest manufacturing facility I’ve ever seen.”
Finally, the SUPPLY.com team experienced Showerworld, which features more than thirty of Hansgrohe and Axor’s world-renowned shower products, from the entry-level Croma Showerhead to the Raindance Showerhead – the Cadillac of showering experiences. Murphy continued by saying, “I’ve always said that the only way to test if a showerhead is truly up to scratch is to throw on a suit and get drenched. It was definitely the highlight of the visit!”
After visiting their facility, the Hansgrohe team hosted a Brand Day at our Austell campus. More than your typical manufacturer visit, the Brand Day was an immersive and interactive experience for the entire SUPPLY.com organization. The Hansgrohe team brought out a premium food truck, delivered a truly informative training session to our sales team, and gave out co-branded swag.
“Hansgrohe Brand Day was one of the best manufacturer visits we’ve ever had,” said Ryan Valentino, SUPPLY.com Account Manager. “They started the morning off right with coffee and donuts, and followed up with a very impactful training session. Often times, manufacturers focus on teaching us how to use their price book or website. Instead, we learned about what separates Hansgrohe from its competitors, how our customers are using these products, and the best practices for installation. Jason gave us the information we need to effectively sell their products.”
